Hi there! My name is Medgine St. Rock. I’m a caregiver and I live in Rhode Island. I enjoy learning and talking about God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. I’m here to tell my story of how real God is as a witness to His goodness in my life, and I am here to share my mistakes and the things I’ve learned while on this journey called life; so that I can prevent someone else from making the same mistakes. Though none of us is perfect, I’ve allowed myself to be vulnerable because I’ve realized that if I can use my mistakes and experiences to help others on their journey that means my pain and struggles are purposeful.
Seeing you win in Jesus’ Mighty Name is one of the reasons why I created this blog. I remember growing up as a young girl, I didn’t have a mother or a father figure in my life even though both parents were still alive. And because of that, I have learned to go through life fully aware of how much of a slippery slope it can be. I have also realized that it wasn’t the things I knew in life that were killing me softly, but it was the things that I didn’t know. One thing that God graced me with as I was growing up even in my adult years, was the privilege to have a few elderly people teaching me certain things about life. Although I had no idea what God was doing at that time, He is still very intentional in writing the pages of my story.
I was born and raised in a family where people in the family were not allowed to elevate or become anything good in life. I was a dead person walking for years; everything in my life was barren. Part of the enemy’s plan for my life was to keep me bound and silent since I was a little girl, and he used my own family and me to get the job done. Because I did not know and couldn’t understand the devil’s agenda, I was bound and silent for so many years until God stepped in and pulled me out of the grave with His mighty hand. Therefore, God helped me find my voice back, He gave me a story, He gave me a platform, and He commissioned me to tell the world about His goodness in my life.
The only reason why I’m on your screen today, it’s because God is all-powerful. I pray that my story will be able to help others encounter the God who can help them find their voice back and everything else that the enemy has stolen from them. I thank God for all the closed doors, and all the twists and turns in my life because all of these things served a purpose in helping me to become the person that I am today. I also glorify the name of my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, for sustaining me in my weakest moments. I was led to create this platform as a voice to the voiceless and to reach as many people as possible for the Kingdom of God. I believe that God wants to invade the whole earth with the power of His Kingdom, and it’s not going to be done by might nor by power but by the Spirit of the Lord. So here I am today, daring to create this blog because I believe in His sustaining power.
